I'm Joelle 👋 (or Joel/Joey on every coffee to-go). My work follows an empathic design approach, advocating for the end-user in every scenario.
Having cut my teeth in the evolving industry of graphic design, I fell in love with UX design and research after discovering that a more informed, effective design solution existed through the application of real world statistics and user behaviour data.
Playful, interactive elements and moments of delight are my design signature, offsetting the rigidity of grid systems that the digital world often adheres to.
In my spare time I can be found hunting down the city’s latest offerings in udon, hiking, reading or nose-deep in #NorthSeaTok.
